June 14 – Was the 46th year anniversary of the Hard Rock Café. The Hard Rock Café was founded by Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton, both of whom love rock and opened up their first venue in London. Their business became successful with the majority of customers being famous rock artists and their business started to expand throughout the world. The chain began global expansion in 1982 when Morton and Tigrett agreed to develop their own cafes in various cities. Morton (Hard Rock America) opened Hard Rocks in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and Houston, Las Vegas; San Diego, La Jolla, and Newport Beach, California; Sydney and Melbourne, Australia; Honolulu and Maui, Hawaii; among others. In 1995, The Rank Organization (now The Rank Group) acquired the cafes owned by Morton, but Morton retained the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.Hard Rock Café Pattaya, on the occasion threw a huge celebration for their staff where a great time was had by all.
Pattaya Branch opened up it’s Hard Rock on October 15, 2001 which marks nearly 16 years of establishment. Today, the celebration was hosted by present management including Mr. Somsakul Polachan, Director of Human Resource, Hard Rock Hotel & Cafe Pattaya, Mr. Kawee Suwanchartphan, Sales & Events Manager, Hard Rock Café and Mr. Kwanjira Jinjantarawong , Marketing Communication Manager. Special activities took place in the morning before the actual celebration as staff members gathered for a big cleaning day around the public areas of Pattaya. They were joined by representatives from the Environment Department Pattaya as well before a luncheon was hosted. Their signature burgers were offered as well as unique drinks that you would only find in the Hard Rock Café.
